Late Winnetka Trustee’s Midcentury Modern Home Sells For $640,000

WINNETKA, IL — A midcentury home on the edge of the Skokie Lagoons in Winnetka sold for $640,000 last month. The four-bedroom, 3,000-square-foot home sits on a half-acre lot on Tower Road overlooking a small village-owned pond. It was built in 1956 to the northwest of the Winnetka Golf Club as part of the Forestview subdivision, according to property records. The home's architect and original owner could not be identified. Its design features a master suite, one bedroom a two-car garage and storage on the right side of its foyer.
