Former supermodel Cindy Crawford and her tequila tycoon husband Rande Gerber are ready to part with a multi-million-dollar Mid-Century Modern spread in the upscale Beverly Hills area of Los Angeles.
Built in 1959, the home hit the market Monday asking $15.99 million and is “stylish, chic, and completely private,” according to the listing with Kurt Rappaport of Westside Estate Agency. Mr. Rappaport did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Fitted with monochrome interiors, high ceilings, walls of glass and an open-floor plan, the five-bedroom home spans 5,386 square feet. It also has a statement fireplace, a bar, a media room and a gourmet kitchen, according to the listing.
The interiors open up on the home’s verdant grounds, home to a swimming pool, an outdoor living area and “meandering paths.”
The couple, both in their 50s, paid $11.6 million for the home—which comes complete with a Hollywood pedigree—in 2017, using a trust, records with PropertyShark show.
They bought it from Ryan Tedder, 41, the frontman of band OneRepublic, who has also served as a songwriter and music producer for the likes of Madonna, U2, Adele and Beyoncé.
Mr. Tedder and his wife Genevieve purchased the house in 2014, and spent almost two years restoring and expanding the property. The couple added a large guest suite and a family room, replaced doors and windows and installed new flooring and landscaping, Mansion Global previously reported.
Mr. Tedder, in turn, had bought the home from Gregory Goodman, a film producer behind “Jason Bourne” and “Captain Phillips,” according to the Los Angeles Times, who first reported the listing.
Mr. Gerber could not be reached for comment, and a representative for Ms. Crawford did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
